A healthcare organization is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician (DO) to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care while covering for a leave just north of San Francisco.
About the opportunity:
Title: Pediatrician (DO)
Schedule: 24 hours per week (0.75 FTE)
Duration: ASAP through April 1, 2025
Responsibilities:
- Managing a diverse pediatric patient panel, providing acute, chronic, and well-child visits
- Delivering in-office care, occasional telehealth visits, and care at testing centers
- Engaging in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other professional development opportunities
- Collaborating with in-office and virtual clinical teams through daily huddles
- Performing in-office procedures within your scope of practice
- Supervising one or more Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) colleagues
Qualifications:
- Completed accredited Pediatrics residency program
- Board-Certified Pediatrician
- California state medical license
- Recent experience: Practiced in an outpatient pediatric setting for at least 2 of the last 5 years or completed residency in the past 5 years
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills
- Proficiency in evidence-based primary care and comfort using technology in patient care
