Coverage Needs in 2025: June - October
Assignment Details/Requirements #107806:
-- Active Virginia license
-- PALS and NRP
-- Circumcision required with sufficient case logs from prior two years
-- Procedures Required: Suturing minor lacerations, X-ray interpretation, Needle pneumothorax, Conscious sedation, Intubation (ETT/NT), Ventilation Management (Pediatric) Acute, Non-Invasive Ventilation Management (neo-puff), Ventilation Management (Newborn)
-- Peds locum will be the only Peds provider on call - no supporting physician or midlevel
-- Circumcision required with sufficient case logs from prior two years
-- 95% of call-back will be for nursery coverage (scheduled deliveries Monday - Thursday)
-- Very low peds volume on Med/Surg unit
-- Peds locum also responsible for ER call coverage
-- Average patients per shift : 2-3
-- Beds in Department: 10
-- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
