Adelphi is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatrician to provide comprehensive pediatric medical services at multiple health centers in San Bernardino County. The ideal physician will be responsible for delivering preventive health services, well-child visits, acute and chronic disease management, immunizations, and developmental screenings in a patient-centered, community health setting. This role emphasizes collaborative, team-based care to improve health outcomes for children and adolescents in underserved communities.

Required:
• MD or DO degree with successful completion of a Pediatrics residency
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP)
• Valid California Medical License (or ability to obtain before start date)
• DEA License and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certification
• Minimum one year of experience providing pediatric care, including well-child visits, immunizations, and chronic disease management
• Experience in underserved, community health, or FQHC settings (preferred)
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHRs), preferably Athena Practice
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care, including preventive health services, well-child visits, and chronic disease management
• Conduct newborn exams, developmental screenings, physicals, and immunizations in accordance with AAP guidelines
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including asthma, obesity, and ADHD
• Work collaboratively with mid-level practitioners (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants) and provide clinical oversight
• Perform refugee/asylee pediatric health assessments as per state guidelines
• Utilize an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for documentation and patient management
• Participate in telehealth visits as needed
• Coordinate whole-person care, including behavioral health, dental, and social services
• Supervise and mentor pediatric medical residents or students if applicable
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and performance evaluations
• Assist in developing and implementing clinic policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including FQHC & HRSA requirements
• Maintain productivity standards, typically 18-20 pediatric patients per 8-hour shift
