Education & Licensing
Current unrestricted Texas Medical License required.
Board Certified in Pediatric Medicine or Board Eligible (with the intent to certify within two years of employment).
Work Experience
Preferred: Experience in pediatric medicine or community health settings.

Language Requirements
Fluent in English.
Bilingual Preferred: Spanish, Arabic, Burmese, Chinese, Vietnamese, or other languages.
Job Summary
The Pediatrician will diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases and injuries in children. The position involves routine examinations to monitor growth and development, treating minor illnesses and chronic conditions, and addressing growth concerns.
Key Responsibilities
Provide quality medical care to pediatric patients.
Diagnose and treat minor illnesses, chronic conditions, and complex diseases.
Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatments.
Advise patients and families on hygiene, diet, safety, and disease prevention.
Monitor and evaluate patients progress and adapt treatments as needed.
Administer vaccinations and perform routine preventive care.
Refer patients to specialists when required.
Maintain and update patient records and close charts within 48 hours of visits.
Participate in compliance performance improvement teams and community health events.
Supervise and evaluate medical residents or students as assigned.
Participate in Saturday clinic rotation and on-call schedule.
Skills & Requirements
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
DEA Registration: For prescribing purposes.
Understanding of Texas mandated reporting laws.
Above-average language, public speaking, and writing skills.
Additional Requirements
Valid Texas Driver s License and reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work across different Clinic sites when needed.
Willingness to participate in community health initiatives and collaborative meetings.
