AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking experienced, board-certified Pediatrician to join an established general pediatrics practice in Ormond Beach/Daytona Beach area- one of Central Florida’s fastest growing family friendly communities.

AdventHealth Medical Group will be expanding its network of Pediatric Primary Care to the Volusia and Flagler communities.

• Enjoy a traditional outpatient setting managing all ages and support of a full office staff
• Will be joining a team of experienced physicians and APPs
• No hospital call required as we have a team of Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists managing the newborn and inpatient pediatric population
• 10 bed pediatric unit and 14 bed level 2 NICU on site
• This practice also includes after hours call triaged by an answering service staffed with licensed nursing professionals
• Access to outpatient pediatric specialists

• Practice will also have affiliation and partnership with AdventHealth for Children in Orlando, a 200 bed tertiary Children’s Hospital.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Pediatrics
• Experience with supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN and/or PA-C)
• Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to: circumcisions, vaccinations, CLIA waived labs

AdventHealth for Children Overview

Our Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is a full service, tertiary children’s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 peds ICU beds with a dedicated peds CICU, a 102 bed NICU, 17 bed pediatric emergency department and statewide pediatric network and transport system.
