• Recommend and order diagnostic tests to evaluate illnesses • Monitor lab results and medication adherence • Prescribe treatments, therapies, medications, and vaccinations to prevent or treat illnesses • Explain procedures, test results, and treatment plans to patients and families • Refer patients to medical specialists as necessary • Represent the practice in hospital committees, ensuring equitable meeting attendance among physicians • Collaborate with and manage APPs to enhance patient care |
