Job Responsibilities
- Must have successfully completed a residency program in pediatric dentistry approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and be either board eligible, or currently certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
- Must possess the skills to competently practice pediatric dentistry and to provide mentorship to residents training in that specialty
- Must demonstrate professionalism, abide by ethical principles, consistently commit to high quality care and incorporate an awareness of the social determinants of health in practice
Qualifications
- Provide didactic instruction and mentorship to residents in the Department;
- Support and guide resident research and participate in scholarly activity;
- Oversee the evaluation and management of pediatric patients requiring oral health care; and
- Other duties as assigned by the Pediatric Dentistry Program Director and/or the Chairman of the Department of Dentistry.
