Highlights
- Light patient volume – 1-2 unassigned patients per day
- Quick credentialing – 30 days with a clean background
Practice Setting
- Inpatient hospital setting
- No newborns – all sick kids transferred to a nearby pediatric hospital
- Standard hospital staff support, with an NP handling primary night call
Schedule
- PRN/sporadic shifts available
- 7 AM - 5 PM daily, with backup night call (NP takes first call)
- Weekend call only for scheduled days
Procedures and Cases
- No procedures required
- Healthy pediatric cases only
- Established patients are seen by their primary clinic physician
Requirements
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Active Iowa license or IMLC LOQ
- DEA & PALS certification required
