Downtown Chico CA

We're looking for a pediatrician to join 2 other pediatricians and 2 nurse practitioners in a thriving private practice in Chico, CA. There is some flexibility in work schedule ( 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 days per week) and whether or not one wants to take occasional pediatric hospitalist shifts at the hospital, or if one wants to make rounds on their own patients admitted or babies born. We have practiced in the area for over 30 years and have a well-established reputation for excellence and caring. We have a top-tier staff and awesome patients. Chico is the home of Chico State University, so being a college town, we have connections to the arts, music, programs, and excellent places to eat. Being in the northern part of the state means you have nature right outside your door with world-class kayaking, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, and snow skiing in Tahoe. We're also just 4 hours away from the beautiful coast. But we have affordable housing compared to much of California. Come check us out!

Job Responsibilities

1. Work 3.5-4.5 days per week in our outpatient office
2. See 20-25 patients per day
3. Optional opportunity to do some occasional inpatient work at Enloe Medical Center
4. Optional opportunity to round on babies born, patients admitted for illness.

Qualifications

1. Board certified in Pediatrics, MD/DO
2. At least 5 years experience, not more than 15 years out of residency

Working Hours

Monday -Thursday 9-5 with 1 1/2 hours for lunch
Fridays - 9-12

Skills

Current California license
DEA current
5+ years experience in outpatient pediatrics
Desire to commit long term to a practice
