Position Details:
Full-Time Role: 15 days per month or 183 days per year
Comprehensive Care: 24/7 coverage for inpatient consultation, surgical management, outpatient clinics, and on-call support
Collaborative Environment: Work with a supportive community of pediatricians, pediatric subspecialists, and visiting specialists from Seattle Childrens
Well-Equipped Facility: 23+ bed Level IIIB NICU, small PICU, and Level IV Trauma designation
Specialized Support: Pediatric anesthesiology available; NP support in the pediatric surgery office
Teaching Opportunities: Mentor University of Washington pediatric residents and local family practice residents
Engaging Practice Setting: Participate in a pediatric sedation program and collaborate with visiting pediatric urologists from Seattle Childrens
Clinic Schedule:
Monday through Friday, split with another pediatric surgeon (when on-call)
1 block OR schedule per week with add-ons as needed
15 days of hospital rounding per month (during on-call weeks)
