Position Overview:
Join facilities expanding medical group as a Pediatrician, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of providers, including dietitians and behavioral health therapists. This position offers the opportunity to work within a structured, well-established system while maintaining autonomy in clinical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive medical services to infants, children, and adolescents.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
Administer vaccinations, prescribe medications, and manage treatment plans.
Promote health education on disease prevention and health maintenance for patients and families.
Perform thorough physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and implement evidence-based care.
Refer patients to subspecialists or other medical professionals when necessary.
Maintain cultural competence to serve a diverse patient population effectively.
Practice within the framework of value-based care principles, reducing administrative burdens through the use of efficient systems.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics.
- Active medical license in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with a commitment to patient care.
Preferred:
- Experience working in diverse, community-based settings.
- Knowledge or experience in evidence-based pediatric care principles.
