Pediatric opening in Novato, CA San Francisco 20m, Oakland 22m, San Jose 60m, Sacremento 80m Full-Time, Permanent Seeking a Board Eligible/Certified physician who is proficient in Spanish to join team. 240-250k Ideal candidate will have direct patient-care experience in a community health or primary care setting. Candidate should have a desire to work with under-served communities and a passion for health education and primary care. This position offers the ability to see patients both independently and as a vital team member in an integrated primary care model. Responsibilities:

  • Provides outpatient services for pediatric patients.
  • Cares for pediatric patients (ages 0-18 years old).
  • Conducts routine well-child care visits, urgent care and follow up appointments.
  • Provides supervision and consultation to mid-level pediatric practitioners working at the clinic.
  • Conducts pediatric inpatient hospital rounds on a given weekday.
  • Participates in quality management activities as assigned by the Medical Director.
  • Participates in the direction and development of health care services. Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited school of medicine.
  • Completion of a 3 year pediatrics residency.
  • Must have a valid and unrestricted license issued by the Medical Board of California to practice medicine.
  • Current registration issued by the DEA allowing the prescription of drugs.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to see up to 20 patients per full time schedule.
  • Prior experience working with under-served communities in a Community Health Clinic environment highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in medical Spanish required.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records NextGen a plus.
  • Willingness to learn NextGen Electronic Health Records (EHR) software if no prior experience with software.
