Job Summary
Join our team as a General Pediatrician at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic in beautiful Livingston, Montana. We are looking for a caring Pediatrician to provide medical care to children and adolescents, while working collaboratively with a supportive team including a Pediatric FNP and Family Medicine providers.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide routine and preventive health care for children, infants and adolescents up to age 18, including physical examinations, immunizations, and developmental assessments.
  • Collaborate with Pediatric FNP and Family Medicine providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide Critical Access Hospital Pediatric call coverage, which encompasses a shared rotation of 24-hour shifts per month.
    • This includes managing newborn resuscitation, pediatric critical illness stabilization and transfer, and hospital admission with comprehensive inpatient care.
  • Participate in coverage of the "Kids Care Line," which answers family phone calls from the clinic.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote pediatric health and wellness.
  • Participate actively in Livingston HealthCare’s quality assurance programs to maintain and enhance the standard of care.

Qualifications

Valid state medical license to practice in Montana or ability to obtain licensure
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
DEA registration and other necessary certifications for practice.
Strong commitment to patient-centered care and community health.
Excellent communication, community leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Experience in rural healthcare settings is preferred.
