Central Michigan University (CMU) College of Medicine and CMU Health, in conjunction with Covenant HealthCare is seeking full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Neurologists to join the Pediatrics Department.
CMU Health in partnership with Covenant HealthCare is building a pediatric residency program and the complementary pediatric specialties. CMU Health sponsors eight residency programs including pediatrics. This is a comprehensive department, developing a full complement of subspecialties to support our new pediatric residency program! Our academic faculty consists of qualified professionals who are dedicated to undergraduate and graduate medical education and providing excellent care to the communities we serve.
Job Description:
- Central Michigan University (CMU) College of Medicine and CMU Health, in conjunction with Covenant HealthCare is seeking full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Neurologists to join the Pediatrics Department.
- Rapidly growing pediatric department in a new pediatric residency program
- Fellowship-trained in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology is preferred.
- Focus on providing care for both pediatric inpatient consults and ambulatory outpatient service
- Candidates must have exemplary clinical skills and a strong interest in teaching
- Role includes resident and medical student education
- Best suited for candidates who are at the assistant or associate professor level, but all ranks will be considered
- A leadership role will be considered for those with the requisite experience; all faculty are appointed through Central Michigan University College of Medicine.
- Opportunity for EEG and sleep study interpretation is also available
