Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of pediatric conditions, developing care plans, and collaborating with families to ensure optimal health outcomes for our young patients. The Pediatrician will also engage in preventive care, health education, and may participate in inpatient care as needed..
  • The pediatric physician must be available for hospital rounds, particularly for newborns, splitting on-call duties with seven other physicians (once a week every two months).

Qualifications
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution required
  • California Board certification/Licensed in Pediatrics is required
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric psychopharmacology and hematology is a plus.
  • Experience in pediatric critical intensive care or inpatient settings is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with sports medicine practices related to young athletes is beneficial.
  • Skills in gastric lavage procedures may be required depending on the practice setting.
  • Ability to develop effective care plans for diverse patient populations.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and their families.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in pediatric care.
