**Pediatric Hematology Oncology Opportunity - Southeast Michigan** **Position Details** - Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist to join a growing team - Team currently includes three full-time physicians and one nurse practitioner, who also participates in the call schedule - Offers a comfortable, patient-friendly environment situated above the Proton Beam Therapy Center - Full member of Childrens Oncology Group, seeing approximately 40-50 newly diagnosed oncology patients annually - Comprehensive hematology care for all diagnoses, including a small population of sickle cell patients - Access to pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties, including pediatric interventional radiology and advanced pediatric surgery with HIPEC capabilities - Dedicated support from a multidisciplinary team including social workers, educational liaisons, and certified child life specialists - Home to the Gilbert Family Adolescent and Young Adult Program and Pediatric/Adolescent Oncology Integrative Wellness Program **Position Benefits** - Faculty appointment with a Michigan-based medical school - Employed position with competitive compensation, benefits, retirement plan, malpractice coverage, vacation, and CME allowance - Collaborative, supportive environment with opportunities for teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows **Position Requirements** - Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Pediatric Hematology Oncology - Interest in teaching and supporting future healthcare professionals
