**Part-Time Pediatric Hospitalist opening in Royal Oak, MI**
Located in the Detroit metropolitan area
**Position Details**
- 20 hours per week Part-time, hospital-employed position
- Patient Population: Newborns and pediatric patients aged 0-21 years
- Clinical Responsibilities:
- Perform pediatric admissions and consultations in the ED
- Round on well newborns and provide family-centered bedside rounding
- Supervise resident physicians and Oakland University William Beaumont (OUWB) medical students
- Collaborate with pediatric advanced practice providers
- Work Schedule:
- Rotational schedule with in-house and overnight home-call coverage
- Day shifts with possible afternoon and overnight shifts
- No outpatient work
- Fellowship Program: Participate in a newly established Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program
- Scholarly Activities: Involvement in education, quality improvement, clinical protocol creation, research, and professional development

**Qualifications**
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in General Pediatrics (required)
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine (preferred but not required)
- Unrestricted Medical License (MD/DO) and DEA in Michigan
- Interest in teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows
