This full time (1.0 FTE) Pediatrician opportunity is located at SSM Health Dean Medical Group and SSM St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, Wisconsin. We utilize a care team approach to optimize patient care. In addition to care teams, our team consists of nurses & medical assistants as well as access to a full complement of pediatric specialists. This team approach is one reason that has led to the departments superior quality ratings in an organization known throughout WI as a high performer in clinical quality.

The Baraboo Clinic is a large primary care & multi-specialty clinic. The Pediatrician will share pediatric & neonatal call with the Baraboo Region providers at St. Clare Hospital, which includes newborn admissions coverage & pediatric telephone call coverage, and requires living within a 30-minute radius of St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo. Imaging & lab are offered onsite at the clinic, and pharmacy is offered in the hospital which allows for excellent continuity of care.

Hospital Overview:

SSM Health - St. Clare Hospital, is a 100-bed facility with 24-hour, Level 3 trauma ER coverage which is contracted through Madison Emergency Physicians; there is 24/7 Hospitalist coverage; full lab and pathology services; average 300 deliveries/yr. The ICU consists of 6 beds and the hospital contracts with Hicuity Telemedicine. The hospital's primary service area includes the communities of Baraboo, Merrimac, Rock Springs, North Freedom, Lyndon Station, Lake Delton, and Wisconsin Dells, with a population of 38,363. In addition, there are 3.5 million tourists who vacation in our area annually.
