Job Description:
- Provider must be willing to attend deliveries (NO EXCEPTIONS). NO OB - Pediatrician is there for the babies. They attend high risk and c-sections, just in case there are issues with the baby.
- Clinic is at local office setting; On-call is at hospital
- Call: 1:3, very light
- Full lab & radiology services on campus
- Two clinic rooms
- Join a team of two full-time physicians and experienced support team (shared receptionist, 1 RN/MA)
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-20
- Average Number of Well-Check Visits Per Day: 10-20
- Will the provider have any supervision duties? No
- Required Pediatric Procedures/Duties: Outpatient Pediatrics, Attendance at C-Sections/High-Risk Deliveries, Nursery Level II/NICU (or Equivalent), Nursery Level I - Routine Newborn Care.
- Ability to perform circumcisions is preferred, but not required
- No inpatient pediatric unit onsite - no hospital rounding for Pediatrics required, only Nursery
- Documentation System/EMR: Cerner
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
- Not accepting visa candidates
- Not accepting Locums candidates
- Cannot accept providers who have any malpractice cases that are in Probate or that require supervision. Clean malpractice is preferred.
