Pediatric Psychologist Opportunity in San Antonio, TX Position Summary: Recruiting a full-time Pediatric Psychologist to join the Division of Pediatric Psychology in San Antonio. This position includes a faculty appointment as a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics. The role is 100% clinical, with opportunities to engage in research, teaching, and administrative activities Job Duties:

  • Conduct diagnostic psychological evaluations, individual therapy, and family therapy for children and adolescents in the Pediatric Psychology clinic.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams involving various pediatric subspecialties.
  • Participate in the development of new clinics and programs within the pediatric psychology department.
  • Teach and train Pediatrics, Family Medicine residents, and psychology interns during clinical rotations, as well as present Grand Rounds.
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Doctoral Degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program. Training: Completion of an APA-accredited psychology internship and a postdoctoral fellowship in child or pediatric psychology, or equivalent experience. Licensure: Licensed or license-eligible in Texas. Preferred Skills: Training or experience in parent interventions and working with children with behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders, or willingness to train in these areas.
