Pediatric Gastroenterology Faculty Opportunities in San Antonio Position Summary: The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Gastroenterology is seeking three full-time faculty members to join the team in San Antonio. We are looking for a General Pediatric Gastroenterologist, an Advanced Endoscopy Gastroenterologist, and a Gastroenterologist specializing in Motility Disorders. Each role includes a faculty appointment within the Department of Pediatrics, with rank determined by the candidates qualifications and accomplishments. • Clinical Responsibilities: - Provide outpatient and inpatient care for children with intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders. - Offer consultative services and emergency room consultations. - Perform general pediatric gastrointestinal procedures, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and related therapeutic procedures.
• Teaching Responsibilities: - Supervise and educate medical students, residents, and fellows specializing in Gastroenterology. - Participate in the Advanced Endoscopy fellowship program, which has successfully trained multiple fellows.
