Pediatric Outpatient opportunity in Maryland

Position Overview:
The Physician is responsible for delivering high-quality, efficient, patient-centered, and cost-effective care to all assigned patients. This care may be provided in various settings, including ambulatory, sub-acute, or acute care, depending on the circumstances.
- Full-time Commitment: Minimum of 40 hours per week, covering direct patient care or administrative duties, typically spread over five workdays.
- On-Call Responsibility: On-call duties will be assigned fairly and reasonably based on the Physicians specialty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Documentation: Provide and maintain thorough, complete records of all patient services according to established standards.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversee the administrative duties of non-physician staff working with the Physician.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, including: Personnel actions, Payroll practices, Orientation and training, Charity care, Accounts payable, coding, billing, and claims processing, Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, CLIA, wage and labor laws).
- Financial Management: Contribute to budget planning and management, including expense reviews and budget reconciliation.
- Community & Group Engagement: Engage in activities such as public speaking, volunteerism, and community service to enhance the Physician's visibility.
- Flexibility & Adaptability: Collaborate with administration to adjust business approaches when necessary, such as modifying practice styles or schedules to improve productivity and patient satisfaction.
- Disease Management: Participate in disease management programs aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of patient care.
