Seeking BE/BC Pediatric Anesthesia
Facility Details:
- The Department of Anesthesiology serves a rapidly growing area in Florida
- Current facilities include 10 inpatient OR's, 5 ambulatory OR's/GI endoscopy suites, an interventional radiology suite, and a cardiac catheterization suite
- Anesthesia services extend to three MRI's and the hematology/oncology clinic
- Plans for expansion into off-campus ambulatory surgery centers are underway to accommodate increasing case volumes
- As a free-standing institution, the department caters to a diverse pediatric population, overseeing approximately 15,000 children annually across a broad range of procedures
- Anesthesia staff actively manages their cases while fulfilling teaching responsibilities to anesthesia residents from Mayo Clinic and other anesthesiology residencies
- Ideal candidates for the position would have interest and/or experience in education, research, and programmatic development
