**Pediatric Hospitalist opening in Great Falls, MT** We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our pediatric inpatient team within a large regional health system. Our team includes a diverse group of specialists, such as Pediatricians, Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Neonatologists, and more, dedicated to providing comprehensive pediatric care. **Position Details** - Full-time position with 182 shifts per year. - 7 on/7 off schedule for work-life balance. - Inpatient team of 2 Pediatric Physicians and 2 Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. - 24-hour shifts with the option to be off-site when not required. - Responsibilities include inpatient pediatric rounds, newborn rounds, and response to the ED for pediatric patients. - Pediatric hospitalists provide short-term pediatric ventilator management post-op, with additional resources available from pediatric anesthesia. **Facility Details** - 14-room, 16-bed unit serving newborns to 17-year-olds. - Handles a wide range of pediatric diagnoses, including surgical, respiratory, psych patients, and trauma. - Daily census averages 6 patients, with increases during the cold and flu season. - Birth Center/NICU: - Level III NICU staffed with Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners. - Collaborative relationship between pediatric hospitalists and NICU providers. - Mercy Flight transfer teams for high-risk newborns. **Benefits Details** - Guaranteed shift-based compensation with bonus incentives. - Generous sign-on/relocation bonus. - Annual $5,000 CME + $1,000 license/dues allowance. - 5-7% retirement match + 457b program. - Malpractice insurance with tail coverage. - Qualification for Public Loan Forgiveness Program. - Monthly meetings with physician and administrative leadership for open communication and issue resolution. **Community Details** Great Falls, Montana, is known for its exceptional quality of life, offering four seasons, mild winters, and 300+ days of sunshine each year.
