Rates: $1800/24 hours includes 4 hour gratis
Call back - $250/hr after 4 hours
Facility in Pendleton, Oregon, is seeking Pediatric Locum coverage for December 24th, 7:00 AM to January 3rd, 7:00 AM. The site prefers a single provider to cover the entire shift.

Practice Setting: Inpatient Pediatric and Neonatal care, including OB consultation and ED admissions

Responsibilities:

Daily Rounds: Approximately 1-4 hours onsite to manage pediatric and newborn patients

On-Call Responsibilities: Handle newborn care from OB, admission consults from ED, and med surge calls for neonate and pediatric patients.

Neonatal resuscitation, intubation, lines, and emergency medication expertise required to stabilize and transfer if needed.

Admissions: Approximately 1 admission per month from the ED

Patients per Day: Varies between 0-6

No NICU Support: Sick babies will be stabilized and transferred; the provider must be comfortable being the solo provider with no backup coverage.
Requirements:

Board Certification: Pediatrics or IM/FM (MUST have significant pediatric and neonatal experience if IM/FM)

Oregon License: Required

Training: 3-year Pediatric Residency Program

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP

Experience: Must have managed inpatient care for at least 24 patients in the last 24 months

Clean Malpractice/Background: Required for quick credentialing
