A federally qualified health center in California is currently seeking a licensed Pediatrician Physician, to join one of their team in Los Angeles.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- Setting: Clinic / Skilled Nursing
- Patient Population: Pediatrician
- Patient Volume: 12 to 16 per day
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialty care services to Clinic patients, ensuring quality, timely, professional care aligned with the clinic's mission and values.
- Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret test results, make diagnoses, and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Consult with physician specialists and para-professional personnel regarding patient care and medical diagnostic work.
- Assist patients and families in accessing care at the clinic and elsewhere, resolving concerns as needed.
- Supervise and mentor student and resident physicians and support staff in patient care.
- Participate in peer review, set clinical standards, and monitor quality of medical services.
- Collaborate with staff providers to discuss clinical concerns and opportunities for improvement.
- 2 years of experience in a Primary Care setting
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of California
- Board Eligible / Certified in Family Practice and/or Internal Medicine
- BLS certification
- DEA certification
- Familiar with E-Clinical Works
