The Pediatric Physician will work under the general technical and administrative supervision of the Pinon Health Center (PHC) Outpatient Department Director or their designee. The Contractor will provide professional medical services or direct patient care services, delivering appropriate and timely medical services in accordance with recognized medical care standards and the policies and procedures of Chinle Service Unit’s Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules & Regulations. Responsibilities include attending department and medical staff meetings at Chinle Service Unit facilities, and providing acute and chronic primary and urgent care services. Services must meet the standards of The Joint Commission, professional standards of the licensing board, Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, and Chinle Service Unit policy and procedures, and Chinle Service Unit Medical Staff Bylaws.
Contract is paying $175/hour + we pay for housing!

Qualifications
-Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
-Completed accredited Pediatrics Residency
-Medical School graduate or ECFMG certificate holder
-Active and unrestricted medical license
-Active and unrestricted BLS, ACLS, PALS, and DEA licenses
-Current experience within the past 6 months or prior IHS experience
-No more than 3 malpractice suits
-Certifications required: CPR, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (highly recommended)
Working Hours
Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
Hours Per Week: 40
