- Specialty: Pediatrician (Physician)
- Est. Start Date: June 24th, 2024
- End Date: 1/24/2025
- Schedule: outpatient clinic and Newborn Nursery open Monday through Friday 8 AM-5 PM and may be asked to cover an occasional Saturday morning. This position does include overnight call of approx. 2 nights per week, with delivery attendance.
- Breakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days: 8 four hour sessions/week
- Setting: General Outpatient Pediatrics, newborn nursery, delivery support.
- Call: approx. 2 nights per week, Occasional parent phone calls with RN telephone triage. Occasional ED consults, mainly by phone.
- For on call nights: Average number of phone calls per shift is maybe 1 or 2. A little more if it's a holiday weekend, but pretty minimal. Sometimes pager doesn't go off at all.
- Requirements: willing to participate in nursery rounds and delivery support. BLS, PALS
- Board Certification: Board Certified Required
- Support Staff: Clinic is well supported with RN's, LPN's and MA's .This is a group practice with physician and APP colleagues as well as Network provider support. Our APP's do not require supervision.
- Procedures: Neonatal resuscitation. Must be NRP Certified. No need for any other procedures.
- Patient Census: Less than 300 deliveries per year. 16-18 patients per day
- Pay Rate: $140/hr
