Intermountain Health seeks a full-time Pediatrician (Pediatrics) to join our team in Nevada. Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with experienced medical leadership and support. As a pediatrician you will provide episodic, preventive, and acute health care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.

Perform a variety of duties such as medical history intake, physician examinations, sport physicals, ADHD/ADD management, circumcisions, well childcare and immunizations, treating childhood injuries and illnesses, and monitoring chronic diseases.

Position Details

  • Practice Locations: Tenaya Clinic
  • Work schedule is 4/10s
  • Reasonable patient volume with a built-in referral system
  • Must be willing to cover more than one practice location
  • Call: Yes
    • Nursery Rounding: 1-3 days per week at the hospital
    • Weekend call
    • Nursery hospital call

Requirements

  • Eligible for an unrestricted Nevada MD or DO license
  • Current Nevada DEA certificate and Pharmacy license required prior to start date
  • BC or BE in Pediatrics (if Board Eligible must take certification exam within twelve months of date of hire)
  • Must have 2 years of experience as a Pediatrician.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) must be obtained and maintained

    Preferences
  • Fluent or Medical Spanish- speaking ability
    The ability to perform circumcisions.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$7.25 - $999.99
