Job Description

A Sterling based client is seeking an experienced Pediatrician to provide excellent primary care services to children. An ideal candidate is a leader who works well in a collaborative environment, values evidence-based practice, and values patient centered care.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
  • Current MI medical license
  • Completed an accredited residency program
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Board certified or board eligible in pediatrics
  • Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in children
  • Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
  • Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
  • Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
