Adventist Health Sonora is actively seeking a full-time, mission-minded Pediatrician to join our busy rural practice. This opening is due to a retirement and the incoming physician will step into an established, busy turnkey practice with referrals and patients already in place.

This physician will work in a hospital-owned and operated outpatient clinic serving rural[Register to View] Counties. This position also requires the physician to take call for the Emergency Department and Labor and Delivery, including the newborn nursery. The incoming physician will join our existing team of two pediatricians and a nurse practitioner in an established outpatient clinic affiliated with our 72-bed hospital.

Sonora is an idyllic, family friendly, community on the Western slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range. Fondly known as “[Register to View] ”, Sonora is located within 2.5 hours of Sacramento, The Napa Valley and San Francisco. It is a gateway to Yosemite National Park. Abundant local recreational activities include snow skiing at two local ski resorts, fishing and water sports on local Motherload lakes, as well as numerous hiking and mountain biking trails.
