Seeking a Board Eligible/Certified physician who is proficient in Spanish to join team._x000D_

Ideal candidate will have direct patient-care experience in a community health or primary care setting. Candidate should have a desire to work with under-served communities and a passion for health education and primary care. This position offers the ability to see patients both independently and as a vital team member in an integrated primary care model._x000D_

Responsibilities: _x000D_
_x000D_
- Provides outpatient services for pediatric patients._x000D_
- Cares for pediatric patients (ages 0-18 years old)._x000D_
- Conducts routine well-child care visits, urgent care and follow up appointments._x000D_
- Provides supervision and consultation to mid-level pediatric practitioners working at the clinic._x000D_
- Conducts pediatric inpatient hospital rounds on a given weekday._x000D_
- Participates in quality management activities as assigned by the Medical Director._x000D_
- Participates in the direction and development of health care services. _x000D_

Qualifications:_x000D_
_x000D_
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited school of medicine._x000D_
- Completion of a 3 year pediatrics residency._x000D_
- Must have a valid and unrestricted license issued by the Medical Board of California to practice medicine._x000D_
- Current registration issued by the DEA allowing the prescription of drugs._x000D_
- Current BLS certification._x000D_
- Ability to see up to 20 patients per full time schedule._x000D_
- Prior experience working with under-served communities in a Community Health Clinic environment highly desirable._x000D_
- Proficiency in medical Spanish required._x000D_
- Experience with Electronic Health Records NextGen a plus._x000D_
- Willingness to learn NextGen Electronic Health Records (EHR) software if no prior experience with software.
