**Child Abuse Pediatrics opportunity: Hiawatha, IA**
**About the Job:**
- Position .9 FTE, full time benefits
- Clinic Hours: Monday Friday 8am-4:30pm
- Call required 1:3 shared; Calls from ERs, supporting 30 counties in Iowa
- Requires ER - Exam
- Conducts high quality medical evaluations for alleged victims of child abuse.
- Promptly completes documentation to assure an accurate legal record of the patients care.
- Fosters positive relationships with CPC patients and family members, CPC team members, other hospital employees and MDT partners.
**Qualifications**
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine/Pediatrics; Specialty training to be provided
- Prefer five (5) years previous child abuse and pediatric experience.
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
