Job Description
A Merced based client is looking for an experienced and collaborative Pediatric Physician to provide care to those under eighteen in a community health center. An ideal candidate values providing equitable and evidence-based care to all patients. The clinic system is large, supportive, and multidisciplinary.
Required Qualifications
- Active CA Physician License
- Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics
- Active DEA certification
- CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in children
- Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
- Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
- Supervise NPs and PAs within regulations
- Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
