**Pediatric Pulmonologist opening - Des Moines, IA**
J1/H1b Eligible
**Position Details**
- Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
- 108 Bed Children's Hospital
- Established team of 2 physicians and 2 Advanced Practitioners
- Opportunity to practice outpatient medicine in an established and well-known clinic with some rounding and consults in the hospital
- Clinical track faculty appointment with the University of Iowa
- Fully accredited CF center
- Multidisciplinary CF clinic
- Fully equipped flexible bronchoscopy and laryngoscopy, exercise testing, and pulmonary function lab
- 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
**Responsibilities**
- Average of 15 patients per day
- Teaching and research opportunities - our residency program is fully accredited by the ACGME and offers seven categorical positions each year
- Shared call amongst the providers. Currently 1:3 Triaged through MyNurse
- Practice is a mix of inpatient and outpatient
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
- Admits and consults in the hospital
- Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
