Job Description

A San Jose based client is looking for an experienced and collaborative Pediatric Physician to provide care to those under eighteen in a community health center. An ideal candidate values providing equitable and evidence-based care to all patients.

Required Qualifications

  • Active CA Physician License
  • Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics
  • Active DEA certification
  • CPR certification
  • 1-2 years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in children
  • Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
  • Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients and families on treatment plans
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
  • Supervise NPs and PAs within regulations
  • Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
