- Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and training. We currently care for patients in an expanding 54-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a 14-bed PICU, a 12-bed pediatric CV-ICU, and a 44-bed pediatric acute unit, with a dedicated pediatric emergency room, and full-time, region-wide in-house pediatric and neonatal transport teams. In addition to patient care, our faculty are involved in teaching residents in the Ochsner Surgery and Pediatrics Residency programs, as well as medical students from the University of Queensland. Ochsner Health and Xavier University of Louisiana recently announced an agreement to establish a joint College of Medicine.

New members of our group practice will be joining three other pediatric surgeons who are part of a high-functioning, rapidly growing tertiary/quaternary Pediatrics Program and Children's Hospital. Our comprehensive Pediatrics Program including primary care pediatricians and pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists (Ochsner Children's™) represents over 230 physicians.
