**Pediatric Hospitalist opening: Kennebec County, ME**
Located 55m to Portland
*Candidates must be comfortable with neonatal resuscitation and stabilization of critically ill newborns while awaiting transfer to a tertiary care center*
**Position Details**
- Full-time, permanent
- Provide care for newborns (level II nursery), pediatric inpatients, and emergency department consults at a state-of-the-art facility
- Team of 4 full time Pediatric Hospitalists and 30 full time Adult Hospitalists
- 13 shifts per month with flexible scheduling
- 12 or 24 hour shifts available (6:30am-6:30pm)
- Provide care independently each shift with support from OBs, midwives, anesthesia and family practice physicians
- Average daily census of 4-6 patients
