Position Details:

• Estimated Shifts: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Weekday coverage only, no weekend coverage)
• Weekend Requirements: None
• On Call Requirements: None

Practice Setting:

• Location: Medical Center, Anderson, SC
• Practice Type: Pediatric Urgent Care
• Average Number of Patients: 20-40 patients per day, depending on the season
• Team: Locum physician will supervise 1 mid-level provider (PA/NP)
• Number of Exam Rooms: 9
• EMR: Epic

Required Procedures:

• Minor wound management and repair
• Incision and drainage of abscesses
• Extremity splinting
• Foreign body removal from skin
• Pelvic exams
• Diagnostic testing

Credentialing and Travel:

• Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days for full privileges; temporary privileges available

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Pediatrics (American Board of Pediatrics or American Board of Osteopathic Medicine - Pediatrics)
• Active South Carolina License
• DEA Registration (Required)
• BLS & ACLS Certification (Required)
• Clean background (No exceptions)

Additional Notes:

• Position involves weekday shifts only (no weekend requirements).
• Physician will supervise other healthcare providers during locum coverage.
