JOB DESCRIPTION:
Healthcare system is seeking a Pediatric Surgery Medical Director to establish a practice within our multidisciplinary pediatric program. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package included.
We are seeking a strong leader to build the team to provide excellent patient care. This is an outstanding opportunity to build a surgical/clinical practice, develop relationships with physicians, and engage with the medical team at the Children’s Hospital.
There is no primary trauma responsibility and ECMO is not currently offered at our facility. Support is provided by a full spectrum of pediatric hospitalists, pediatric intensivists, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and pediatric sub-specialists.
The pediatric surgery program draws patients from surrounding counties with a strong pediatric and maternal-fetal medicine referral base. Educational opportunities are provided by a partnership with UNC School of Medicine.
