Seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Surgeon to join our expanding department in Urbana, Illinois.


Practice opportunity details include:

  • Join an established, full-spectrum program with an additional BC Pediatric Surgeon, dedicated Pediatric Surgery NP and full Pediatric Anesthesiology coverage
  • Large built-in referral base with growing primary care and pediatric subspecialty physician base
  • Block surgical time with clinic located adjacent to the hospital
  • Pediatric Critical Care Center
  • Comprehensive support services to optimize surgical care across the continuum including daVinci XI system for robotic cases
  • Wide variety of cases – excludes transplants, burns, oncology, trauma and pediatric hearts
  • Inpatient specialty support on site includes; Neonatologists, Pediatric Intensivists and Pediatric Hospitalist service. Additional outpatient pediatric specialties such as Maternal Fetal Medicine, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Cardiology, Radiology, Psychology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Sleep, Genetics, Nutrition, Orthopedics, Rheumatology, and Endocrinology
  • Opportunity to teach General Surgery residents at our ACGME accredited residency program
  • Teaching and research opportunities available at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation’s first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering
