Pediatric Surgeon - Assistant/Associate Professor
The University of Missouri Department of Surgery, Division of Pediatric Surgery is seeking a Pediatric Surgeon to join our team as we open a new children’s hospital on the main university campus. A collaborative and collegial group, including Pediatric Surgeons, Surgical Nurse Practitioners, nurse clinicians, clinic nurses and administrative support deliver innovative care with cutting edge technology and established multi-disciplinary clinics and programs.
- Bowel Management program with full motility capabilities with Pelvic Floor Physical therapy, Rehabilitative Ultrasound, Biofeedback, and Motility OR slots using our own Manometry system.
- Chest Wall Malformation program including Pediatric Pulmonary and Physical therapists with black bone imaging capabilities, use of cryoablation and the new pectus Blu system.
- Multi-disciplinary Vascular Anomalies program with Pediatric and Adult IR support.
- Dedicated feeding access program and clinics managed by our Surgical Nurse Practitioners.
- Fetal Program with full diagnostic and interventional capabilities in a dedicated integrated i-suite Fetal OR.
To further strengthen our research mission, we have a dedicated research team within the Department of Surgery with an established clinical trials and outcomes platform and multiple basic science labs through the NexGen Precision Health.
