Our Programs

Asthma Management: We offer a full range of testing and breathing treatments for children with asthma. Our approach centers around thorough education and planning " from teaching inhaler techniques to avoiding indoor and outdoor triggers. This gives the child and family the tools they need to recognize and treat symptoms themselves.
We are an accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a patient care, teaching and research center. We provide comprehensive cystic fibrosis services, and as a California Childrens Services-approved practice, we care for nearly 200 patients a year, from newborns to young adults up to age 26.

Sleep Center: Our team specializes in identifying sleep-related breathing disorders in infants, children and young adults up to age 21. Common sleep disorder symptoms in children include behavioral and mood problems, attention problems, poor grades, daytime sleepiness, snoring and restless sleep.

Home Ventilator Program: We are dedicated to caring for children with diseases requiring chronic mechanical ventilation. Our home ventilator program enables ventilator-dependent patients to have as much normalcy as possible while still receiving complex medical treatment. As a California Childrens Services-approved practice, our goal is to improve the complex care these children require and to make life easier for their families.

Multidisciplinary Services

Our team collaborates with other pediatric specialists, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, nutritionists and social workers to provide a full spectrum of complete and compassionate care.
We also work closely with other teams:
  • Immunology to treat primary immunodeficiency patients and patients with eczema/atopic dermatitis
  • ENT to manage patients with breathing problems
  • Gastroenterology for esophageal pH monitoring
  • NICU, PICU and our Heart Center in providing inhaled nitric oxide therapy
