Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology

Morgantown, West Virginia
West Virginia University School of Medicine and Pediatrics Department is seeking a Chief for Pediatric Pulmonology/Sleep Medicine/Cystic Fibrosis who will lead and assist in expanding this division.
- Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pulmonary Medicine
- Sleep Medicine certification is highly desired
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience practicing as a pediatric pulmonologist in an academic setting.
- Excellent leadership skills and clinical expertise is necessary
- Clinical research and published work is also required.
Primary Responsibilities
- The Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology will play a vital role in the education of medical students/residents/fellows.
- Practice inpatient/outpatient pulmonology
- Extend outreach services via telemedicine to clinics in the WVU service area.
- Conduct bronchoscopies and interpret pulmonary function tests.
- Direct and lead the Pediatric Sleep Disorders Clinic and CF Therapeutics Development Center.
