Tenet Healthcare along with University Pediatricians is actively seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for full-time, employed opportunity in Detroit, MI.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are interested in advancing their careers and those that want to join an established team with great mentorship opportunities. Today, the group has grown to staff all general pediatric inpatient teams plus non-resident teams and the observation unit at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.

We are seeking physicians that have a passion for hospital medicine and are comfortable with procedural skills. Shifts will be scheduled at Children’s Hospital of Michigan as well as another local community hospital, DMC Hutzel Women’s Hospital. Responsibilities at each hospital will include attending deliveries and performing newborn resuscitation.

Candidate Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree required
  • Must be BE/BC with the American Board of Pediatrics (also open to Med-Peds program graduates that have an interest in Hospital Medicine)
  • Michigan licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in the State of Michigan
  • Candidates must be comfortable with newborn resuscitation/intubation/delivery care, performing circumcisions and lumbar punctures
