Driscoll Health System’s Division of Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine is thrilled to announce an exceptional leadership opportunity for a Medical Director of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.

This brand-new leadership role is designed for a visionary physician eager to shape and elevate a dynamic Pediatric Hospitalist program at a freestanding, 243-bed tertiary care center with a dedicated Pediatric ICU, ER, and a full spectrum of pediatric subspecialties and surgical services. The hospital serves a large area, covering 33 counties and 33,000 square miles, with a patient population that presents complex and high-acuity medical conditions. Driscoll Children's Hospital is home to one of the largest NICU populations in the country, supported by a state-of-the-art unit with 60 beds.

As the Medical Director, you will:

• Lead & grow a team of talented Pediatric Hospitalists, driving excellence in patient care.
• Oversee clinical operations, ensuring top-tier, evidence-based medicine is delivered.

• Monitor & optimize quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Board-Certified Pediatrician with a minimum of 5 years of Pediatric Hospital Medicine experience.
• Subspecialty certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine preferred.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
