Are you a Pediatric Hospitalist seeking a part-time opportunity in a breathtaking location? Asante Health System is looking for a compassionate, dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Oregon.

Our pediatric hospitalist group covers healthy newborns (no delivery attendance), as well as pediatric intermediate care patients. With a diverse and dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including respiratory therapists, pediatric pharmacists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and child life specialists, we provide a collaborative and enriching environment.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide care for hospitalized pediatric patients, including healthy newborns and those requiring pediatric intermediate care.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists, therapists, and support staff.
  • Work a flexible schedule with 12-hour shifts.

Position Requirements:

    • Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school with successful completion of residency training in an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency program.
    • License/Certification:
      • MD or DO licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners.
      • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
      • Board Certified/Eligible by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
      • Eligibility to obtain and maintain medical staff membership and privileges.
      • Eligible for participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
    • Experience/Qualifications:
    • Advanced analytical skills for evaluation and treatment of pediatric patients.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
    • Strong communication skills, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for teamwork.
    • Ability to contribute effectively in a collaborative, service-focused work environment.
