We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens opportunity. This role involves inpatient pediatric care, nursery coverage, emergency department consults, and high-risk delivery attendance in a Level III Trauma Center with 185 beds.
- Provide inpatient pediatric care and consult on pediatric surgery admissions.
- Attend high-risk deliveries and manage special care nursery cases.
- Perform emergency department consults and support pediatric admissions.
- Work independently with full privileges and no on-call responsibilities.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation.
- Setting: Inpatient hospitalist role with no adult patient care.
- Travel & Lodging Provided: Includes airfare, lodging ($150/night cap), mileage reimbursement, rental car, and ground transportation.
- Closest Airport: BWI - Baltimore/Washington International.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days (full & temporary privileges available).
- Lodging eligibility requires a travel distance of 40+ miles from work location.
Job Responsibilities

Qualifications
Active Maryland medical license preferred (will consider candidates needing to obtain one).
DEA certification required.
PALS and NRP certifications required.
Minimum 3 years of experience preferred.
Maryland CSR License required.
Working Hours
Up to 25 shifts per month.
No on-call duties.
