Pediatric Hospitalist needed in NW Ohio for a regional community non-profit hospital. Incredible practice opportunity located near Toledo. You will be responsible for Level IIB special care nursery, ED consults and limited outpatient medical consults. Newborn care, attendance of high risk deliveries and inpatient pediatric care. Average of 1000 deliveries per year. Easy access to Columbus and Toledo metro for events and airports.
Average daily census of 12 (average of 2 pediatric inpatients, 8 well newborns and 4 special care). Six, 24 hour shifts, 6 per 28-day block. Hospitalist service admits patients. Nationwide Children's Hospital collaborative partnership. Offers access to pediatric specialists, pediatric research and clinical trials to NW Ohio. Malpractice, health + life insurance, CME, 401k (4% match). Local administration and decision-making. Invested leadership who seek your input.
