Position: Locum Tenens – Call Coverage for Inpatient Pediatrics and Newborn Nursery
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, Board Certified pediatrician for inpatient pediatrics and newborn nursery call coverage starting in February. This is a locum tenens position offering flexible hours and the opportunity to make a significant impact in a well-supported healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
--Provide 24-hour call coverage for the well-baby nursery and attend deliveries if requested.
--Perform circumcisions (preferred but not required).
--Offer care in a newborn nursery setting, ensuring the health and well-being of infants.
--Work closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide the best care possible.
Qualifications:
--Board Certified in Pediatrics.
--Proficiency in performing circumcisions is preferred.
--Active Wisconsin medical license or current IMLC Letter of Eligibility preferred.
--Available for 24-hour call coverage starting in February
